Founded by Edward Duarte in 1980, Duarte Group, Inc. has always been a business with a deep commitment to integrity, client relationships, and exceptional service. Ed’s values of treating clients like family and prioritizing relationships over profit created a strong foundation for the company’s growth.  As a true family-run business Ed’s daughter, Katee, spent her childhood watching and helping her father operate a successful company with principles and kindness.
After his passing in 2015, Katee took the reins, applying her decades of experience in marketing and communications to pivot the business’s focus to social media services. She was determined to create a solution that served clients better than the impersonal and inefficient practices she saw at other agencies. Today, she has modernized the firm, yet maintains her father’s relational approach to business. Duarte Group continues to thrive and deliver impactful results by prioritizing honest, client-focused service and a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.

Katee values client relationships and the trust they place in DG, and takes pride in fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment for her team. Katee lives in Hamilton with her son Hudson, and their dog Annie.

Favorite part of your job

I absolutely love the work we do and the people we work with, both our clients and our team. Earning and maintaining client trust is an honor to me. I also feel privileged to lead our brilliant and supportive all-women DG team. One of my favorite things about the job is creating an environment for those around me to excel and feel proud of their hard work.

I love being the catch-all for the organization. I'm integrated into every element of the business so if someone needs help, they come to me for a solution. I also enjoy being a leader who has the opportunity to grow people and roles within our organization. I love seeing our team thrive and evolve!
